Designing For Nissan Brand Print

Full bleed photography for print ads allows for greater creative freedom and opportunities.

Combined with the new brand logo and the flexible VI, the result is a more modern, dynamic feel and look.

This freedom however comes with the demand for cutting-edge craft, raising the bar in each and every execution.

Creative should be direct and focused on one clear message.

There are two options for logo placement and sizing:

Primary placement places focus on the heroic car image and headline, followed by the logo and a call to action (where applicable).

Secondary placement places focus on a larger centered logo, followed by the heroic car image and headline and a call to action (where applicable).

Brand Logo Primary Placement & Sizing For A4

Logo placement is limited to the four locations shown in the illustration. Placement of the logo may vary in its position depending on the creative concept and the visual layout.

This module is a basic calculator to determine Nissan logo size and placement.

Divide the media surface by 20 boxes horizontally and vertically. Boxes along the vertical axis are called “H units.” Boxes along the horizontal axis are called “W units.”

Place logo 6W box units into position as shown.

Note: For all Print, the Nissan Illuminated 3D logo is the default logo. The black logo shown here is for placement and sizing only.

Brand Logo Secondary Placement & Sizing For A4

The secondary logo placement uses a larger logo and can be placed in two locations shown in the illustration. Placement of the logo may vary in its position, depending on the creative concept and the visual layout.

This module is a basic calculator to determine Nissan logo size and placement.

NIM Logo Placement & Sizing For Print

Where appropriate, the NIM Logo should be applied as a consistent branding element.

Size

The size of the NIM Logo is based on the height of the space between the Nissan Brand Logo serifs.

Placement

The primary NIM Logo can be placed in all corners depending on the creative asset. Do not vertically align the NIM Logo and Brand Illuminated Logo, to maintain hierarchy and balance.

Color

In instances where the logo is not legible in black, please use the white with blue version.
